Step 2: Registration of personal and contact data

Candidates accepting the terms and conditions can apply by clicking on the “I accept” checkbox below and pressing the “Start” button. The candidate must correctly fill in all the desired information, i.e. personal details, contact details, etc. The login id and password will be emailed to you on the registered email id. Upon completion of Stage 2 registration, a message will be received in the candidate’s registered email id indicating their login ID (application sequence number) and password. The applicant must log out and log back in (for step – 3) in order to fill in further details in the application form.

Step 3: Education and other details

After registration, the candidate needs to login and fill in other information in the application form, such as education details, Gate Score qualification details, declaration, etc.

Step 4: Upload a photo and signature

Instructions for Scanning Photograph and Signature: Applicants should upload the scanned (digital) image of their photograph and signature in accordance with the process outlined below. Applicant should note that only jpg/jpeg format is acceptable:

Photographic picture:

  • color picture size 35mm (width) x 45mm (height) no more than 12 weeks. Black and white photos will not be accepted.
  • Light background. Light grey/white is suggested. No patterns.
  • The face should cover 70-80% of the photo. The candidate should look directly at the camera with a normal expression.
  • Avoid uniforms in colors that match the background.
  • If the applicant wears optical glasses, their eyes must be fully visible.
  • The size of the scanned image must be between 50-100kb only in jpg/jpeg format.

Signed picture:

  • The applicant must register white paper with Black ink pen.
  • The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by another person.
  • Please scan the signature area only, not the entire page.
  • The file size must be between 50-100kb only in jpg/jpeg format.

Step 5: Application fees and method of payment

Applicants can make payment for the application form only through SBI I collect etc. Once the application is submitted, candidates will be automatically redirected to the SBI gateway to deposit the examination fee of INR 100 (if applicable), to be paid by all candidates, via Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/ UPI/challan, etc. The applicant can generate a payment acknowledgment for future reference.

Note: * Former military personnel who have ever secured employment in the civilian sector under the central government in a Group “C” position on a regular basis after availing the benefits of the reservation granted to them are liable to pay the fee examination, i.e. Rs. 100/-. Bank charges, if any, will be borne by the candidate.


  • The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions.
  • Payment can be made by debit cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), credit cards, internet banking, UPI, SBI challan, etc.
  • Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  • Online payments can only be made up to the last date of submission of the online application form
  • Payments via SBI challan generated on the last closing day of online application forms can be submitted to the bank up to 10and May 2022 (only during bank opening hours)
  • What happens if an applicant has provided incorrect information in the online application?
  • If an incorrect date of birth, category or name was entered and the application was finally submitted, it is advisable to reapply and present yourself for the interview, if necessary, with the admission card bearing the correct details.
  • If not reapplied, in case the change is related to date of birth or category, the candidate’s eligibility would be checked against the suggested corrections at the time of the interview and if he is deemed ineligible to appear for an interview, being older, then he would not be allowed to be interviewed.
  • In case of minor correction like address, misspelled name, etc., there is no need to reapply. In case the candidate is shortlisted for an interview, he/she can give directions for relevant correction at that time

Step-6: Final Application Submission

Applicants are advised to submit only one application. Submission of other/multiple nominations may result in the total cancellation of his/her nominations. For the purposes of all future references, applicants are advised to retain a printed copy of their application form after successful submission.
